Control & drive systems

Sensors observe the process, actuators execute commands and drives create movement. Compatible signals and coordinated parameters connect these tasks into a working system.

Who is this service for?

  • Machine operators
  • Maintenance managers
  • Businesses adapting sensors or drives

Possible scope of work

  • Select sensors and actuators for the measurement task, signal type and installation environment.
  • Consider variable-speed drives and motors alongside load, duty and existing controls.
  • Record parameter versions, signal assignments and feedback traceably.
  • Scope replacements and functional changes against electrical and mechanical interfaces.
  • Plan functional trials with agreed permissions and suitable operating conditions.

What you receive

  • A clearly described component or drive objective with the relevant interfaces.
  • For confirmed work: traceable parameter or signal changes within the agreed scope.
  • Defined tests for operation, feedback and the operating behaviour under consideration.

From enquiry to handover

  1. Identify the component

The device type, its purpose and its existing integration are recorded.

  2. Assess interaction

Electrical interfaces and process requirements need to match.

  3. Plan verification

Test conditions, approvals and a return to the starting state are agreed.

What we need for your quotation

  • Drive, motor and affected sensor nameplates
  • Wiring diagrams, parameter backups and fault codes
  • Load type, operating sequence and known mechanical constraints

Frequently asked questions

Is a replacement with the same power rating automatically suitable?

No. Signals, load characteristics, environmental conditions and existing protective functions also matter.

Can existing parameters be transferred?

Only after checking device compatibility and the meaning of individual settings.

What helps with an initial enquiry?

Nameplate information, a clear description of the issue and current drawings make the first assessment easier.

Can a drive be adjusted to improve the process?

Adjustments can be assessed when load behaviour, process limits and permissible operating conditions are known. A higher speed or different ramp is not automatically suitable for the machine.
