Test reports & installation documentation

A useful test report shows what was actually examined and which findings follow from it. NOVALUX agrees how measurement and inspection results should be linked to an installation and handed over as understandable records.

Who is this service for?

  • Property owners and managers
  • Design offices
  • Commercial and industrial businesses

Possible scope of work

  • Define installation references, inspection boundaries and available source documents.
  • Bring actual results, findings and outstanding items together clearly.
  • Agree output format, revision status and handover scope.

What you receive

  • Agreed results with clear references to the installation, task and issue status.
  • An identifiable distinction between confirmed information, open questions and areas outside the work.

From enquiry to handover

  1. Assemble the source information

Send available records with an identifiable revision and state the intended result. Missing or uncertain information is recorded as an open item.

  2. Define the level of detail

Scope, necessary site information and output formats are agreed. A clear approval version helps prevent different drawing or information revisions from being mixed inadvertently.

  3. Hand over the records

Agreed results are assembled with installation references and an identifiable issue status. Further changes or additional supporting evidence can be scoped separately if required.

What we need for your quotation

  • Original results and installation identifiers
  • Intended documentation use and required format

Frequently asked questions

Can a missing report simply be written afterwards?

Only available, traceable original information can be prepared in that way. Missing tests are not retrospectively claimed; a new inspection may need separate assessment.

Can my own form be used?

Send the template and its intended purpose. The assessment considers whether it captures the necessary information and how existing results can be mapped to it.

What identifies the installation?

The report needs a clear reference to the site, installation and examined parts. That keeps it distinguishable from other areas even when records change later.
