Network testing & documentation
Traceable measurements help when a data connection is unclear or unreliable. Before testing, the scope defines which links and properties are to be examined and what conclusions the results need to support.
Enquire about your project
Who is this service for?
- Private clients
- Businesses
- Property managers
Possible scope of work
- Distinguish port identification, fault investigation and more detailed link assessment.
- Record endpoints, access and identifiers for the connections involved.
- Document results against the specific link measured.
What you receive
- A scope matched to your information with the relevant technical interfaces identified.
- Depending on the confirmed commission: agreed functions and the associated operating and handover information.
From enquiry to handover
Record functions and existing systems
Describe the intended use and identify existing components. Concrete examples are more useful than a general list of preferred products.
Clarify interfaces and scope
Compatibility, access and responsibilities are assessed against the actual system. Necessary preparation and dependencies form part of the agreed scope.
Provide an understandable handover
Agreed functions, controls and relevant records determine the handover. Additional requests or subsequent changes in system conditions are agreed separately.
What we need for your quotation
- Port schedule or locations of affected connections
- Required test conclusion and known fault symptoms
Frequently asked questions
Is a connectivity check already certification?
No. Different procedures assess different properties. The required conclusion and an appropriate method need agreement before the commission.
Does the network need shutting down?
Some tests require disconnected links or access to both ends. Affected connections and interruptions are agreed in advance.
What belongs in a test report?
At minimum, clear link identification, the agreed procedure and actual results. Untested areas and limitations must remain visible.
