Hob connections
A separate hob needs an electrical connection suited to both its requirements and the kitchen layout. Whether induction or another electric type, your enquiry should include the model, ratings and installation conditions. NOVALUX will coordinate the appropriate scope.

Describe the connection requirements
Send the requested information and explain the intended result. Photographs of accessible areas help preparation; electrical covers do not need to be opened for this.
Agree conditions and scope
Any necessary site visit, preparation and interruptions are clarified for the actual property. You receive a defined scope before a binding commission is established.
Arrange delivery and handover
Timing, materials and necessary final checks follow the confirmed commission. Changes from the initial conditions are discussed before additional work is carried out.
What we need for your quotation
- Hob model and connection documents
- Details of any additional oven
- Photographs of the installation space and closed connection point
Frequently asked questions
Can the hob and oven share a connection?
That depends on the appliances, existing installation and an appropriate connection arrangement. A shared connection point does not make every combination suitable.
Does induction change the requirements?
The actual rated load and manufacturer-supported options determine the requirements. The word induction alone is not enough to choose a connection arrangement.
Should the hob already be installed?
Tell us its installation status. Connection access, cable routing and the sequence of kitchen work need to align; a fully enclosed installation can make access more difficult.
